With 15 years of experience since qualifying at the University of Manchester in 2011, I focus on two main areas: endodontics (root canal treatment) and orthodontic and restorative dentistry. Much of my endodontic work involves complex cases referred by other dentists, as well as helping patients keep and improve their natural teeth. On the orthodontic and restorative side, I help patients straighten their teeth and improve the appearance of their smile. 

Since qualifying I have built my experience across multiple practices throughout the North West, including Chester, Crewe, Lymm and the Wirral. I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Endodontics from the University of Chester and am currently completing a Master’s degree (MSc) in Endodontology, which allows me to keep advancing my training so I can treat more complex cases using modern techniques and equipment. 

Much of my endodontic work comes through referral. I welcome patients who have been told their root canal is too difficult to treat, whose previous root canal has failed and needs redoing, or who have curved or complex tooth anatomy. I also see patients seeking a second opinion before agreeing to an extraction, where a natural tooth can often be saved rather than lost. Referrals from other dentists are always welcome. 

On the orthodontic and restorative side, I’m a fully qualified Invisalign provider, using clear, near-invisible removable aligners, and I also offer fixed braces through the ClearSmile system. Where it helps, I combine tooth straightening with restorative treatment - including whitening, porcelain crowns and veneers - to improve both the function and the appearance of the teeth. Composite bonding to finish an orthodontic case is usually carried out by our dental therapist, Danielle Davis. I am also developing my skills in the restoration of dental implants under the mentorship of Liam McGrath.

Outside dentistry, I’ve volunteered in Cambodia with the One-2-One World Organisation, providing care in mobile community clinics for residents of deprived villages. I’m a keen sportsman and a lifelong Wigan Warriors fan, and I love walking and exploring with my family- including my two children, Amelia and Theo - particularly in the Lake District. Food and travel are big passions of mine, and I have a deep affection for Italy, where I taught English on and off for five years, returning most years to keep improving my Italian.
