Emergency dentist in the Wirral - new patient appointment only £102 (was £170)*
If you're in pain, dealing with a broken tooth, or facing any other dental emergency, our team in Hoylake is here to help patients across the Wirral. Get in touch as soon as you can and we aim to see you on the same day. One of our dentists will examine you, identify the cause of the problem, and talk you through your options clearly before any treatment goes ahead. Both new and existing patients are welcome to contact us.
Rinse your mouth with warm salt water and take painkillers as directed on the packet. Don't place aspirin or any painkiller directly against the tooth or gum, and avoid very hot or cold food and drink.

Knocked-out tooth
Handle the tooth by the crown, not the root. If it's dirty, rinse it gently in milk or your own saliva — not tap water. If possible, try to reinsert it into the socket. If you can't, store it in a small container of milk and get to us as quickly as possible.

Broken or chipped tooth
Keep any broken pieces if you can, rinse your mouth with warm water, and apply a cold compress to the outside of your cheek to reduce swelling.

Lost filling or crown
Keep the crown if you still have it and avoid chewing on that side. An over-the-counter temporary dental cement can offer short-term relief until you're seen.

Facial swelling
Apply a cold compress and contact us promptly. If swelling is affecting your breathing or swallowing, this is a medical emergency - call 999 or go to A&E immediately.

Heavy or uncontrolled bleeding
Apply firm pressure with clean gauze and seek urgent care. If bleeding doesn't stop, treat this as a medical emergency and go to A&E.
If you are an existing patient and get in touch with us about an emergency appointment, we will aim to:
See you on the same day that you contact us
Diagnose your dental problem Discuss all treatment options with you
Relieve you from pain
